Highlights
Over 29 colleges were represented at the ICCCA conference, Resilience and Reinvention, which was held on November 11-12 at the I-Hotel in Champaign. Dr. John Q. Adams was the keynote speaker at the Opening General Session with his message, "COVID-19 and George Floyd: Now That I Have Your Attention Let’s Make Policy!"
Mr. Jeff Newell, Deputy Director for Strategic Initiatives from the Illinois Community College Board, provided an update on state initiatives.
Mr. Kip Cozad, Coordinator of Tutoring and Literacy at Moraine Valley Community College, accepted the ICCCA 2021 Innovation Award for Moraine's Online Tutoring Implementation.
Dr. Bradley Griffin from John A. Logan College, and Dr. Lynn Mackey from Richland College were awarded ICCCA Scholarship awards.
