Chief Student Services Officers (ICCCSSO or CSSO)
The Illinois Community College Chief Student Services Officers (ICCCSSO) is a network of executive-level administrative professionals of the 49 community colleges in Illinois. ICCCSSO meets three times annually to discuss issues of importance to student services: an annual winter meeting in February, a summer meeting in June; and in conjunction with the ICCCA conference in November. Examples of topics discussed, monitored and acted upon include but are not limited to: Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) and Transfer, International Students, Financial Aid/Student Costs, P-20 Partnerships, Student Success, Dual Credit, Legislative Issues, Campus Safety and Leadership Development. There are four officer positions: President, President-Elect, Secretary/Treasurer and Immediate Past-President. The President serves as the official representative to the Illinois Council of Community College Administrators (ICCCA) and to the Council of Presidents.
